Keep both versions
Weleda explicitly labels its selected cream new packaging and says internet ingredient information can differ from the supplied product. Aveeno also warns that products and ingredients may change. A changed list should be recorded with its source and date rather than overwritten to make two records appear identical.
Separate identifiers
A seller item code identifies a retail listing, while a batch code identifies a production batch. Neither automatically supplies the other. The site records the selected product references but has not received current packages or established their batch codes, expiry fields or period-after-opening symbols.
A receiving example
If a delivered Aveeno bottle has a list different from web referencePR-3664, retain a readable record of the actual product label for the manufacturer enquiry. Do not assume that an older screenshot is correct for every bottle or reconstruct missing concentrations from the shorter list.
A useful next step
Before reordering for an ingredient-specific requirement, ask whether the exact supplied version meets that requirement. The source-field tool reports the web record and unresolved fields; it does not certify the batch, perform a chemical assay or approve personal use.
